The works involve the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new Inlet Switchboard at the Bairnsdale Water Recycling Plant. This includes relocating the existing PLC and motor control cabinets into a consolidated enclosure and decommissioning the existing switchboard.

Detailed engineering specifications have been prepared by a third party, and the contractor will be responsible for delivering the works in accordance with these specifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian electrical standards and East Gippsland Water requirements.

For the purposes of this Request for Tender, the Works are divided into two Separable Portions:

Separable Portion 1: The new Inlet Switchboard supply, installation, testing, and commissioning (excluding PLC and motor control equipment), representing Pricing Schedule Items 1-5.

Separable Portion 2: Relocation of the existing PLC and motor control cabinets into a consolidated enclosure, representing Pricing Schedule Item 6.

The Principal may, at its absolute discretion, award one or both Separable Portions. Acceptance of one Separable Portion does not oblige the Principal to accept the other.
