Council is utilising this RFQ for the purpose of securing funding to undertake this public walkway lighting project. Council is proposing this be completed in stages. Full length of walkway is approx. 4.7kms, broken into 3 stages:

• Proposed Stage 1 - Valencia Drive through to underpass of Northern Distributor.
• Proposed Stage 2 - Coogal Wetlands Loop
• Proposed Stage 3 - the remainder of the walking/bike track loop. (Which is as a rough guide from Coogal Wetlands headed North along the area of Sieben Drive meeting the edge of the Northern Distributor in Northeast direction, before coming back behind Northstoke Way heading South - Southeast and ending where the walking path meets Burrendong Way.)

When the project is able to be successfully funded, Council will negotiate the project program in line with funding requirements.

Council would like to see solar options for lighting. Consideration to be given for impact on neighbouring residential areas.
