Warrnambool City Council early year’s services care and educate children aged from 0-6 years of age. The children are cared for and educated in a quality environment and accordingly a high standard of cleaning is essential.

Warrnambool City Council operates 12 early years’ services across the municipality. Of these, 11 services—including eight standalone kindergartens, three early learning centres, three Maternal and Child Health consulting rooms and one office space—are covered under this contract. Each building is unique in its design and finishes and requires cleaning following each daily session. The services run programs for children throughout the week, with session times generally ranging from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Please note that program days and session times may vary from year to year.

Cleaning tasks at each site are required on a daily, weekly, term based, and annual schedule as outlined below

The Contractor shall perform cleaning services at each site in accordance with the following schedule and standards. All work must comply with applicable Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. All equipment and cleaning materials must be maintained in safe, clean, hygienic & operable condition. Where possible hospital grade cleaning products to be utilized & appropriate cleaning cloths / equipment for each task. All cleaning tasks must be completed outside of service delivery hours for each service. Sign in and out in supplied book with time of enter and leaving each for each clean is also a requirement. A communication book will be provided for interactions when necessary.
