Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Non-Commercial Marine Biotoxin Monitoring Programme (NCMBMP) monitors shellfish and seawater samples from around New Zealand to ensure they are not contaminated with elevated levels of toxins caused by algal blooms in the sea.

The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) requires suppliers to collect weekly water samples/fortnightly shellfish samples from 41 sites around the country. Samples are sent to a contracted external laboratory for analysis.
