Overview
Queenstown-Lakes District Council (QLDC) is seeking concise proposals from suitably qualified and experienced forestry and ecological experts to prepare a Harvest and Restoration Plan for the Ben Lomond Reserve.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Assessment of options for harvest and staged removals within the Ben Lomond Reserve
- Preparation of a Harvest and Restoration Plan supporting a healthy and diverse forest ecosystem
- Consideration of measures to reduce wildfire risk through the reserve
Contractor Requirements
- Suitably qualified and experienced in forestry
- Suitably qualified and experienced in ecology
Instructions to Tenderers
QLDC will not be arranging a site visit for this tender. However, as Ben Lomond Reserve is a public reserve, respondents are encouraged to visit the site.
