Cloud-First Infrastructure & Telephony Modernisation
Tender ID: 591596
Tender Details
Tender Description
Indigo Shire Council (ISC) faces increasing pressure to modernise its core ICT infrastructure to ensure ongoing service reliability, meet the demands of a growing and increasingly mobile workforce, and mitigate operational and cyber risks. The existing datacentre infrastructure is outdated, with core components such as servers, storage, and switching equipment no longer supported by vendors.
Network connectivity across sites is inconsistent and unreliable, while the current IPFX telephony system is overly complex, lacks integration with modern platforms, and no longer meets the needs of the organisation.
ISC is seeking proposals from suitable vendors and implementation partners to consolidate and modernise ISC’s infrastructure by transitioning existing workloads to a scalable and secure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform, implementing Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS) to safeguard critical information assets, and enhancing business continuity through Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). The program also includes replacing the legacy telephony system with a modern unified communications solution.
This transformation will enhance organisational resilience, support hybrid work practices, improve disaster recovery capability, and lay the foundation for a service-oriented, cloud-enabled operating model.
