Applications open on 1 August 2025 for Community Strengthening Grants Program 2025

Council's Community Strengthening Grants Program has been a valuable source of financial support for local events, projects and programs in Golden Plains Shire communities for 26 years.

Grants of up to $7,000 are available in three streams:

• Healthy Connected Community
• Community Inclusion
• Environment and Sustainability

Applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their application with Council’s Community Grants team. Please enquire as soon as possible to allow adequate time to discuss your application prior to the submission deadline.
