Project goals

This Expression of Interest (EOI) invites suitably qualified contractors to submit their interest in undertaking Pallet Racking Maintenance Services for TAFE NSW.

The EOI will require the contractors to complete a capability matrix nominating the TAFE NSW campus locations they can service. The outcome of this EOI is to produce a shortlist of suitable contractors that will be invited to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Scope

• Inspection and maintenance in accordance with relevant Australian statutory requirements. The frequency and intervals for preventative maintenance are to be in accordance with statutory requirements where they apply and/or the frequency specified in Part B, Tab 4 Asset Maintenance Plan.
• All preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing & reporting requirements in accordance with the relevant Australian Standard and all other relevant compliance documentation and regulatory requirements. The frequency and intervals for preventative maintenance are to be in accordance with statutory requirements where they apply and/or the frequency specified in Part B, Tab 4 Asset Maintenance Plan.
•  All corrective maintenance activities identified during preventative maintenance work as approved by TAFE NSW, including repair / replacement of any identified components.
• Work and reports to a standard that ensures TAFE NSW has no risk or liability for non-compliance concerns.

TAFE NSW is seeking to establish arrangements that provide value for money outcomes for TAFE NSW, with preference to engage directly with qualified contractors who have the in‐house capacity to service all campuses either statewide or per region. In establishing these arrangements, TAFE NSW is seeking to minimise subcontracting activities.
