Tender ID: 589744
Tender Details
Tender Description
This project will focus specifically on dog parks which are defined as a designated, fully enclosed section within a park or public space for dog guardians to legally exercise, play and socialise with their dogs off-leash in a secure environment. These areas are physically separated from the rest of the park by fencing (at least 1.2 metres) and often include dual-gate entry to prevent dogs from escaping and to reduce conflicts with other park users. Appropriate amenities are typically provided to support safe and responsible use.
The consultant will develop the Dog Park Technical Report for Whitehorse that responds to community demand and local context. The Technical Report will be informed by evidence-based research, benchmarking, best practice and include planning and design standards, service levels, and management considerations.
