Invitation for Market Sounding NSW Motorways Tolling Back office (NTBO)- Notice

⁠⁠⁠TfNSW is seeking input, views, and ideas from local and international organisations with relevant expertise and experience in NSW Motorways Tolling Back Office (NTBO) system and or similar solutions.

Project goals

The objectives of the Market Sounding Process are to encourage frank and open engagement with Participants to:

•  Inform the local and global market early about NTBO and the upcoming opportunities for the market.
• Test the market's capability, capacity, readiness, and preparedness to participate in the potential procurement processes for NTBO, including opportunities for consortia to be formed.
• Seek market input in identifying and resolving key challenges that TfNSW may face in relation to the development, procurement, and implementation of NTBO.
• Gain insights for the development of the NTBO technology roadmap including gaining understanding regarding innovative solutions that may be available from the market.
• Identify any emerging market constraints, issues, and opportunities

Scope

TfNSW is seeking input, views, and ideas from local and international organisations with relevant expertise and experience in one or more of the following categories:

a) Experience in the development, implementation, and integration of a NTBO system or similar for the tolling network which considers the motorist experience and which is sufficiently flexible to address Government and motorist needs whilst they continue to evolve.

b) Experience in the development, implementation and integration of software and/or hardware products or services for the tolling network which also considers the motorist experience.

c) Experience in the management of large-scale systems integration projects.

d) Experience in developing transformational, flexible and innovative technology-based solutions that will help the NSW Government undertake decision-making in relation to toll reform.
