Tender Description
TAFE NSW seeks suppliers to perform preventative maintenance and repairs of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, battery walk behinds. Suppliers must be able to service at least one region.
Project goals
This Expression of Interest (EOI) invites suitably qualified contractors to submit their interest in undertaking preventative maintenance and repairs of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, battery walk behinds for TAFE NSW. The EOI will require the contractors to complete a capability matrix nominating the TAFE NSW campus locations they can service.
The outcome of this EOI is to produce a shortlist of contractors that will be invited to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Suppliers must be able to service at least one region within NSW to be successful in shortlisting to the tender stage.

Scope
The scope of this procurement activity includes the preventative and corrective maintenance of Materials Handling Equipment - forklifts, powered pallet jacks, battery walk behinds.
TAFE NSW will prioritise engaging with Respondents who not only have the capacity and capability to deliver the services but also demonstrate commitment to supporting TAFE NSW social procurement and environmental sustainability initiatives. TAFE NSW is committed to delivering measurable social benefits, including:
· increasing the number of Aboriginal businesses awarded contracts with the NSW Government (in this instance this may be through direct contracting with Aboriginal businesses or via a subcontracting arrangement through the primary supplier).
· reducing environmental footprint
· engaging with NSW registered businesses
· supporting skills development, training and apprenticeships.
· eliminating and addressing Modern Slavery risk in supply chains
· supporting gender equality, particularly in leadership and trades roles
