RFT Montmorency North Pavilion Construction

⁠⁠⁠The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors to construct the refurbishment of Montmorency North Pavilion Refurbishment, 109 Para Road, Montmorency, VIC 3094.

The project's objective is to upgrade the existing pavilion, including refurbishing the changerooms, storeroom, gym and umpires’ rooms to meet current compliant standards.

The scope of works generally includes but is not limited to construction activities involving:

• Mobilisation and site establishment.

• Set out of works.

• All works as per design drawings.

• Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council and statutory safety requirements.

• Liaison with authorities as required.

• Location and protection of any underground and above-ground services in the works area.

• Site clean-up.

• Warranties and 12 Month DLP.

Background information / Compatibility requirements

The pavilion will continue to be used by the cricket club during construction therefore we will require hoarding to be constructed to segregate the works area, as per markup in Part 1.

The extent of the tender option shown on drawing WD2 is to include replacing fixtures, fittings, partitions, tiling and repainting of the existing Acc., Male and Female toilets, to match scheduled and specified items being installed for the rest of the project. Quantity of fixtures, fitting and partitions is to match existing shown on drawings and verified during site visit.

In addition to the above, there will be a site visit on Monday 23rd of June at 10am for contractors to assess the site conditions.
