Horsham Rural City Council is seeking to engage a security service provider to offer after-hours security services at various buildings and locations within the municipality of Horsham.

The contract will be offered on the basis of one 12 month term, commencing 1 August 2025 until 31 July 2026, with 2 one year optional terms to be offered at Council’s sole discretion.

Security checks and routine patrols include (without limitation to):

• Conducting perimeter patrols around each building. The contractor must provide their own tag, QR code, or GPS tracking system to verify patrols.
• Ensuring all external doors and windows are properly secured during each patrol and submitting a summary of the daily activity report by next working day.

Additionally, the security provider will be responsible for the following services under the Ad Hoc service agreement:

• Providing a call-out service for break-ins, fire alarm activation and duress alarm, or cash-in-transit escort service.
• Providing a static guard for ad hoc services such as duress response, functions and events
• Reporting of issues to Police and Council representative
