Tender Description
Council undertakes a variety of repairs and general maintenance work that requires various qualified service providers. Establishing a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for companies able to provide these services assists Council in completing the works in an efficient and effective manner.
The register will provide Council with a list of pre-qualified suppliers to be utilised for emergency works and ad-hoc maintenance up to the value of $7,500 including materials, without first seeking quotes.
Planned works with an expected value greater than $7,500 including materials will require quotations. Large projects may utilise this list of pre-qualified suppliers from whom quotations will be sought. This register allows for the purchase of necessary materials to complete the quoted works. All quotations must be separated into labour and materials components.
This contract will be refreshed every 24 months to accommodate the inclusion of additional suppliers in order to meet Council requirements.
The services may be required at all Council sites and community facilities and may be extended to include other venues as the need arises. This is an indicative list of services required and may be expanded or reduced based on negotiation with successful suppliers as the need arises.
Works will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Service and maintenance works;
- Emergency and after hours repairs;
- Compliance testing;
- Check and repair of any faulty equipment; and
- Other minor works projects as requested.
