Project goals
The NSW DPIRD Farms of the Future program aims to empower primary producers to achieve efficient, sustainable and productive agricultural practices through the accelerated adoption of Agtech and connectivity solutions in NSW.
To support this aim, the Mobile Learning Centre will act as a travelling hub of innovation, bringing immersive and practical Agtech education directly to training and field day events, as well as providing an additional resource for demonstration site activities. It is expected that this may be in the form of a bus, truck or trailer and this innovative, mobile educational facility will serve as a dynamic platform to engage producers, students and other industry stakeholders in the latest agricultural technologies.

Scope
Project Timeline
The Mobile Learning Centre should be operationally ready for deployment by mid-September 2025. Suppliers should provide a project schedule. Timely delivery is critical.
Operating Outcomes
The Mobile Learning Centre must deliver a high-quality, engaging educational experience focused on agricultural technology. It must include Virtual Reality (VR) and/or Augmented Reality (AR) experiences as well as interactive learning stations showcasing technologies such as sensors and data platforms. Facilitation space for workshops, demonstrations, and presentations both inside and outside of the Centre should be considered. The Mobile Learning Centre must be accessible, climate-controlled, and suitable for deployment in regional and rural environments.
Technical Outcomes
The vehicle must be equipped with reliable power supply systems, connectivity infrastructure to support digital content delivery and secure storage for equipment and educational materials. All technology must be user-friendly, durable, and supported by appropriate training and documentation. It is expected that the development of content and resources will be completed in collaboration with the Farms of the Future program. Some existing education materials have been developed and are available through an online Learning Management System, however the development of innovative VR experiences and content as part of this EOI will be considered.
The Mobile Learning Centre will be operated from Sept 25 to Dec 27.
