Council employs a workforce to construct and maintain public infrastructure such as roads, drainage, water, sewerage, parks, reserves, bridges etc.

In carrying out their responsibilities Council’s workforce may require the assistance of Contractors in the business of offering Tipping Trucks for hire on an hourly or haulage basis.

To assist specific Council Employees engage appropriate, registered, insured, well maintained Tipping Trucks with competent, safety conscience drivers Council compiles a list of approved Contractors for hire at an hourly and haulage rate basis, via an open tendering process.

This contract provides for the hire of Tipping Trucks with driver, to transport material from quarries, gravel pits or other sources to Council worksites or other locations as required.

This is a Work as Ordered contract, with method of payment being Schedule of rates.

The contract is for a 12 months period from 1 July 2025 until 30 June 2026 with the potential for extension for a further 24 month period. Please refer to full tender documents for specifications
