East Gippsland Water provides water and sewerage services to several townships over an area of 21,000 square kilometres in the far east of Victoria, which boasts some of Australia's most diverse and spectacular scenery and a population of around 45,000 people.

To provide these services, EGW operates and maintains water treatment facilities, the output being treated water that is used for purposes such as irrigation. Irrigation systems operate across key sites at Kalimna West, Paynesville, Mallacoota, Metung, and Lakes Entrance. These systems rely on high-performance filtration to protect downstream infrastructure from blockages and degradation caused by particulate matter and algal load.

The Purpose of the Tender is to identify a preferred supplier who can provide irrigation filters and associated components. This includes, but is not limited to, filtration units, housings, fittings, control systems, monitoring devices, and related consumables.
