Tender Description

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to fabricate and install a new lookout platform into the Gloucester Tree.

The Gloucester Tree is a key tourism attraction for the Pemberton area, providing the public a unique climbing experience.  In 2023, the tree was closed following an engineers' inspection of the cabin structure at the top of the tree and in 2024 the cabin was removed from the tree.

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at Burma Road (Gloucester Tree), Pemberton on 30 Apr, 2025 11:00 AM.

A mandatory briefing/site inspection for prospective Respondents will be conducted at the Gloucester Tree, Pemberton. Respondents are asked to confirm attendance by notifying Jordan Gibbs, Project Manager, on 0436 935 596 or via email at: jordan.gibbs@dbca.wa.gov.au, no later than 3:00pm (Perth time) on Tuesday 29 April 2025.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
