Spools and Jumpers - Subsea Program

⁠⁠⁠Overview

Chevron Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a supplier to undertake the GS3 Spool Fabrication Scope under its Subsea Program, covering the fabrication, inspection, testing, coating, storage, and loadout of subsea spools and jumpers.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Fabrication, inspection, testing, coating, storage, and loadout of seven (7) subsea spools and jumpers
• Fabrication executed in two phases: Pre-Metrology Fabrication and Post-Metrology Fabrication
• Receipt, storage, handling, preservation, and incorporation of BUYER-supplied free-issue materials, including line pipe, induction bends, diverless connectors, and qualification test materials, into the completed spools, with particular care taken in the handling and protection of diverless connectors throughout fabrication
• Fabrication of all spools in accordance with DNV-ST-F101 and the project technical specifications
• Provision of all labour, facilities, equipment, consumables, welding, NDT, dimensional control, laser metrology support, and quality documentation necessary to complete the works
• Performance of welding qualifications, welder qualifications, and non-destructive examination, including PAUT, in accordance with project requirements
• External coating of completed spools in accordance with the project coating specification, using either NORSOK M-501 System 7C or Thermal Spray Aluminium (TSA) as specified
• Pre-metrology fabrication activities, which may be performed at the SUPPLIER's fabrication facility
• Post-metrology fabrication activities, including final fit-up, welding, inspection, and loadout preparation, undertaken at a facility adjacent to a suitable quayside capable of accommodating the BUYER's transportation vessel, nominally 160m long with a quayside water depth of 10m
• Provision and maintenance of suitable laydown, storage, and fabrication areas for prefabricated spool components, free-issue materials, and BUYER-supplied handling equipment, including spreader bar sections and associated lifting equipment
• Provision of all personnel, equipment, facilities, and support services necessary to execute the post-metrology scope in accordance with the project schedule
• Provision of all craneage, rigging, and loadout services required to safely transfer and deliver the completed spools onto the BUYER-supplied transportation vessel on a FOB (Incoterms 2020) basis

Optional Scope

Further to the spools fabrication, it is estimated that approximately 250t of structural fabrication for spreaders and braces to suit the base scope above will be included in the overall package. The BUYER reserves the right to carve this out as a separate package if deemed beneficial to the project. Capability for the optional scope will be assessed separately where suitable suppliers are identified.

Contractor Requirements

• Unhindered access to the post-metrology fabrication facility with full control over the fabrication worksite
