Maitland City Council has identified numerous leaks to its outdoor 50m Olympic Pool at Maitland Aquatics Centre and through this RFT aims to identify a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out remediation works to the failing coatings and expansion joints in the pool shell.
GENERAL
The scope of works for this pool includes the repair of existing movement joints and inclusion of the hydrostatic relief valves as well as patching and recoating the existing fibreglass liner.
• Cut out and clean out existing movement joint and cut back
• Place new recessed Radmat external surface water stops along the expansion joints within pool.
• Install new hydrostatic relief valves
• Pool operator to assume all pool filtration shut down and emptying works and recommission pool plant
