Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) has received funding approval for the replacement of the Branchview Road Bridge. Council intends to replace the existing timber bridge, on a new alignment and construct a new two span concrete bridge. The bridge is located approximately 40km west of Pittsworth on Branchview Road and spans the Condamine River (North Branch).

The council wishes to procure the services of a crew of experienced crews to construct all in-situ structural concrete elements of the new bridge.

The works to be undertaken include the falsework, steelwork, formwork, concreting and finishing of all in-situ structural concrete elements in the project.

This includes:

• Two (2) abutments,

• One (1) headstock,

• Two (2) relieving slabs,

• Two (2) abutment protection structures

• Two (2) castellated kerbs along the bridge extent

• Concrete margins from Roadworks Package

The successful Contractor will be required to work efficiently to complete the required works, in accordance with the design drawings and specifications MRTS70 Concrete and MRTS71 Reinforcing Steel.
