Tender Description
As part of the procurement process, CHW is seeking engagement from the market to better inform the tender process by obtaining feedback on the intended procurement process.
This includes:
- Length of the tender process.
- Major challenges and opportunities during the construction of the embankment work.
- Challenges of working on a live dam noting water will be maintained at reduced levels for construction.
- A safe workplace is imperative to CHW, we would like to understand the initiatives and opportunities that could be implemented to improves the safety of the works.
- Understand what site access is required during the tender period (whilst CHW Operates the White Swan Reservoir, a private Operator operates the pumping station on the downstream side of the main embankment).
- Any innovation opportunities that could be implemented to reduce the duration or cost of the construction works.
- Identify the challenges of undertaking this work in a regional environment, and how those challenges may be overcome.
- Additional requirements to support the tenderer's due diligence/tender process and to identify any other suggestions for a successful tender, and any concerns, or suggestions which may improve or impact the procurement process.
