All Goulburn Valley Water Contractors who tender for work with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

• Please submit your questions via the Forum quoting the RFQ number 8/8130/25.
• GVW seek an elevated work platform that can traverse short distances, be able to be setup on reasonably non-uniform terrain, and provide capacity to reach more than 10 meters.

Following are the critical requirements that GVW seek:

Maximum working height > 10 metres

• Boom length shall be under 11 meters (no requirement for High Risk Work Licence Class Boom-type elevating work platform operation licence – WP to operate the equipment)
• Maximum working reach (horizontal) greater than 7 meters
• Maximum rated capacity greater than 220Kg
• Shall include Trailer for transport (combined weight of trailer and machinery not to exceed towing capacity of a Ford Ranger Ute)

Following are the preferred requirements that GVW seek:

• Crawler Tracks
• Turret rotation 360deg
• Basket rotation capable
• Auto Leveling
• Maximum operating slope greater than 12deg
• Dual power Petrol or Diesel and Lithium Batteries
• Wireless Radio Control for the unit

Vendor to also provide:

• Maintenance plan
• Provision and costing for performing maintenance (not to be included in tender price)
• Provision and costing for recertification schedule (not to be included in tender price)
