Council is the registered owner of Lot 1 on RP739964, which is located at 61 Gregory Street, Cloncurry. The building has previously been used as an RFDS office, a materials testing facility for Main Roads, as an office for the Historical Society, and is in need of renovation before re-purposing to another permitted use.

Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest from parties interested in renovating the property in exchange for a competitive lease over the premises.

After Council has received responses, Council intends to prepare a short list from the persons who responded to the invitation for EOIs and request written tenders from those persons pursuant to section 228(7) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (LG Reg).
