Tender Description
The purpose of this project is to undertake construction works to repair the Enhanced Leakage Pit (ELP) detailing the requirement for bulk material excavations in the Salt Interception Scheme (SIS).
Project goals
The objective of this project is to undertake site preparations as a prerequisite to construction works for the repair of the Enhanced Leakage Pit (ELP) commencing.
Completion of these site preperation works will be helpful to undertake construction works to repairing works to the ELP which includes bulk material excavation and disposal.
Scope
The project is divided into six tasks.
- Clearing of regrowth.
- Grading and preparation of cleared storage area.
- Development of access ramp to storage area.
- Clearing of regrowth and spoil around the ELP boundary and grading for site preparation.
- Repair of ELP access ramp.
- Repair of access ramp to Bay 4 embankment and track to the Northern Borrow Pit (NBP).
