Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Evaluating mechanical harvest solutions in Australia (VG24006).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Introduce global mechanical harvesting manufacturers to the Australian vegetable industry.
- Enable direct discussions between manufacturers, growers, and agribusinesses to align product designs with Australian conditions.
- Showcase the scale and diversity of the Australian vegetable market to manufacturers.
- Foster partnerships and collaborations for future research, development, and product adaptation.
- Encourage the adoption of innovative mechanical harvesting solutions to address labour and cost challenges.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
