Tender Description
SCOPE OF WORKS
The Site Radios scope includes the supply on hire, deliver to site, set up, maintain and remove all radios and accompanying equipment for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix (Event). Contractor’s duties will include:
- the hire, delivery and set up of all radios programmed for channels, according to radio delivery schedules;
- handheld radios qty. approximately 450
- vehicle mounted radios qty. approximately 20
- all radios to be complete with;
- aerials;
- belt clips or belt straps or similar;
- carrying cases;
- earpieces / headsets (Noise Cancelling/Temple / Heavy Duty / Light Weight / speaker microphones);
- spare batteries;
- battery charger units (single / double / multi way);
- installation of fixed base stations, aerial cabling and removal thereof – recommended qty. approximately 15 base stations however this is dependent on the Contractors system capability;
- establishment of at least two (2) separate repeater stations, not co-located, including all necessary arrangements/hire of premises;
- on-going maintenance during initial use prior to Race Week;
- full on-site service attendance during race week;
- provision of interface equipment to integrate radio network with the Race Control system provided by the Race Communications; and
- provision of a standby crew during the Event period for maintenance and rectification.
