Requirements
The Department of Health and Aged Care is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to provide in-house UX design training for the ACG Design Assurance & Enablement team. The purpose of this training is to enhance the team's skills in user experience design in Government, ensuring they are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and best practices.
1. Scope of Work
The selected vendor will be required to provide the following services
- Comprehensive UX design training tailored to our team's needs.
- Training materials and resources.
- Hands-on workshops and practical exercises.
- Post-training support and resources.
2. Training Objectives
The training should cover the following topics
- Introduction to UX design principles & methods, and the differences in the approach to UX in Government as opposed to private enterprise.
- Overview of Discovery, Design Thinking and the DTA’s Digital Service Standard.
- User research methods and when to apply them.
- Deep dives into Usability & User Testing in the detailed design and development stage of delivery.
3. Vendor Requirements
Vendors must meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in delivering UX design training.
- Qualified trainers with relevant industry experience.
- Positive references from previous clients.
- Ability to customize training content to our specific needs.
4. Submission Requirements
Interested vendors should submit the following:
- Detailed proposal outlining the training program including the following options for delivery
1. in-person
2. online
- Options for access to support and resources post-training.
- Case studies or examples of previous training delivered to Government clients.
- Cost breakdown and payment terms for each option described in the submission.
- Timeline and availability for training delivery.
