Tender Description
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is responsible for maintaining the road network in the forest estate. DEECA utilises a road classification system to describe standards and maintenance regimes. Gippsland has been affected by several storm and flood events in recent years, in particular during late 2023 and early 2024. As a result of these weather impacts much of DEECAs road network requires repairs to ensure the roads can be safely used by the public and for bushfire and emergency response. The Department is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) T2024-0438 for the provision of recovery roading works on Sawpit Road in the Tambo district.
