Council is seeking tender responses from qualified and suitable experienced contractors to undertake landscape construction works to deliver a district-level play space and picnic area upgrade at Possy Newland Reserve, Little River.

This project envisions transforming Possy Newland Reserve into a vibrant and accessible community space. The scope of works will involve a comprehensive revitalization, encompassing the following:

Demolition and Removal: Removal of existing play equipment and other structures.

Site Preparation: Grading, drainage improvements, and preparation for new features.

Paving and Surfacing: Installation of pathways, picnic areas, and surfacing materials including soft-fall mulch, rubber surfacing, and pebble swale.

Amenity Installation: Installation of BBQs, a drinking fountain, and outdoor furniture.

Play Equipment: Supply and installation of new play equipment, with Softfall treatment.

Landscaping: Planting, lawn rectifications, and the establishment of a sustainable landscape.

The project will be sensitive to existing mature trees, ensuring their protection and preservation throughout the construction process.

Late and/or emailed tenders will not be accepted. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be successful in being awarded.
