Project goals

Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for the development and maintenance of a kerbside bulky waste (clean up) booking website, consisting of three main features:

1. External facing (hereon referred to as front end) customer site, to allow residents to self-book clean ups;

2. Internal facing site (hereon referred to as back end), to allow staff to manage bookings; and

3. Contractor/collection facing site allowing for the routing of trucks and completion of booking tasks.

A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in Section 3 and attachments of this Request.

Tenderer will not have to be a member of the ICT Services Scheme SCM0020.

Scope

Council is now seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced respondents, to develop, maintain and continually improve a Clean Up booking site for the management of bulky waste collections across the City. The site is required to manage bookings from initial contact though to the completion of the collection, allowing for a transparent, closed-loop process where information is easily obtained and communicated in a sophisticated, aesthetically appealing, and user-friendly way. The end-to-end online system for waste collections is to enable a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service to residents.
