Government Schools Principals’ Conference Venue 2025, 2026 and 2027

⁠⁠⁠The Academy of Teaching and Leadership aims to host the Government Schools Principals Conference over the next 3 years. The conference will be an event of up-to two-days 2025, 2026 and 2027, with an approximate attendance of 4,000 guests in person at a CBD location in Melbourne.

The Academy requires an event venue with proven event industry experience and access to current technology to deliver the high-quality technical and hospitality requirements expected for this event. The preferred venue will provide access to current technology, include sufficient room availability, security, car parking, existing staging, in-house audio-visual services, and catering services including food, beverages, and staff. The venue will need to offer a high standard of physical and thermal comfort for participants – especially given the likely dates of the conference within Melbourne’s winter.

For the 2025, 2026 and 2027 conferences, a gala dinner will be held at the end of the first night, as some regional attendees will be staying overnight in the Melbourne CBD.

This contract is dependent on annual funding, that will be confirmed no less than six months prior to the conference date each year.
