Tender Description
Warrnambool City Council invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to carry out a condition assessment and valuation on all Council buildings and structures (112 minor & 233 major structures).
The asset valuations must comply with the relevant accounting standards AASB 116 – Property, Plant & equipment and AASB 13 Fair Value Measurement. Council requires all data to be supplied in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and a final report in PDF format.
The key objectives of this project are to:
- Undertake condition inspection and assessment of Council buildings and structure assets and their components to identify the extent of maintenance requirements
- Undertake a revaluation for each asset and its components including a review of useful life, replacement value, depreciated value and fair value for audit reporting purposes
- Provide an updated asset register for Council buildings and structures in a format that is compatible to be uploaded into Council’s Asset Management System
- To improve on Council’s buildings and structures by ensuring the assets are adequately maintained and meet all statutory requirements
