Tender Description
This Approach to Market is for the provision of committee member services for a First Nations expert working group on Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (the Committee). The Committee will partner with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and Arts to develop stand-alone legislation to protect Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property, and to address the harm associated with fake art, souvenirs and merchandise.
Conditions for Participation:
The Customer will exclude from participation any Potential Supplier that does not demonstrate compliance with the following:
- is an individual/legal entity, and
- is, or can supply an individual/s as a proposed Committee member/s that:
- is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
- identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
- is accepted as such by their respective community; and
- can provide appropriate confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
Timeframe for Delivery:
The Contract will remain in force for a period of up to two years from the date the Contract is entered into. The Contract will include the following extension option to be exercised at the discretion of the Customer: one (1) period of one (1) year in duration.
