MidCoast Council is seeking Submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced landscape contractors to undertake repair, and reconstruction works as a schedule of rates contract at Queen Elizabeth Park, Taree.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
Council maintains a large number of parks and reserves that represent a vast investment in Council’s recreation portfolio that supports passive recreation for those living and visiting the Mid Coast of NSW. The infrastructure of within a number of these parks and reserves was damaged during the natural disaster events occurring in 2021 and 2022 and the Council has received funding to undertake resilient restoration for a number of these. As part of this program, Council has identified the need for the following repair and replacement works:
• Queen Elizabeth Park, Taree (Cnr River Street and Pulteney Street) – Remove damaged block garden beds, brick paving, vegetation, and park furniture and replace with new concrete paving, earth mounding, sandstone blocks, turfing, plantings and new furniture.
