Tender Description
The Attorney-General's Department is proposing to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement with candidates who have appropriate qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience to assist with Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) functions.
The ARC provides independent advice on the appropriateness of:
- financial and performance reporting responsibilities,
- systems of risk oversight and management, and
- systems of internal control
The ARC review external and internal audit reports and monitor management's implementation of internal audit recommendations and recommendations arising from the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit (JCPAA).
ARC members must be external to departments and can't be officials of any Australian Government entity.
The role of the ARC is to oversee department's control environment, including audit, risk, compliance and governance.
The panel will be drawn upon for upcoming ARC membership appointments.
The department will appoint either "Chair" or "Member" roles, depending on the experience of personnel.
Other agencies within the AGD portfolio or from across the Commonwealth may access this panel to appoint members for similar roles.
These will comprise of one or more of the following capabilities:
- Audit and Risk Committee Chair
Audit and Risk Committee Member

Industry briefings will be held on:
24 July 2024: 10.30am - 11.30am
2 August 2024: 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Attendance at the industry briefing on a day and time that suits is optional, however Tenderers are encouraged to attend.
