Construction of Speedy/ Stafford Street Stormwater Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠SCOPE OF WORKS

2.1 Included Work under the Contract (WuC)

This Technical Specification relates to the installation of approximately 363 lineal meters (Lm) of new underground stormwater drainage within the township of Thargomindah, broadly summarised as Work under the Contract (WuC) as follows:

• Mobilisation, establishment, management of worksite, clean-up and demobilisation associated with included WuC

• All setout of works

• Planning for, design of, and implementation of temporary traffic management arrangements during works including administration

• Implementation, management and maintenance of erosion and sediment management devices across the work site

• Trench excavation, all materials

• Bedding, jointing, haunching, overlay and backfill for:

   o 18.5 Lm of DN375 RRJ RCP (CL2) reinforced concrete stormwater pipe, laid in single cell trench configuration

   o 19 Lm of DN450 FJ RCP (CL4) reinforced concrete stormwater pipe, laid in single cell trench configuration

   o 244.5 Lm of DN525 BlackMAX (BM) Polypropylene stormwater pipe, laid in single cell trench configuration

   o 44.5 Lm of DN525 FJ RCP (CL3) reinforced concrete stormwater pipe, laid in single cell trench configuration

   o 37 Lm of DN675 FJ RCP (CL4) reinforced concrete stormwater pipe, laid in single cell trench configuration

   o 17.08 Lm of DN525 BlackMAX (BM) Polypropylene stormwater pipe, laid in twin-cell trench culvert configuration between structures HW1/50 and HW/50 where stormwater line 50 crosses the existing concrete scenic footpath east of Eccles Street

• Setup, cast-in situ base and/or precast base, componentry stacking and installation complete of six (6) precast kerb entry units (KEUs)

• Setup, cast-in situ base and/or precast base, componentry stacking and installation complete of one (1) IPWEA Type 1 field inlet pits

• Setup, cast-in situ and finishing complete in place four (4) cast in-situ headwall structures, including outlet scour protection measures

• Earthworks to open channel drain MC300 and MC301 located east of Eccles Street to provide free draining outlet of the underground stormwater drainage
