1. Seamlessly integrating with on-premises D365 Finance and Operations.

2. Storing data captured during the OCR process on-premises or in GRDC’s Azure tenancy.

The users and their needs

• Integration of Data Capture/OCR Solution with On Premises D365 Finance and Operations: Seamless integration with on premises D365 Finance and Operations, allowing extracted text to be used within on premises D365 workflows and processes.
• Document Capture: Ability to scan or upload documents in various formats, such as PDF, images, or scanned documents.
• Text Extraction: Accurately extract text from scanned documents and images, including handwritten text if applicable.
• Data Validation: Validate extracted text against predefined rules or formats to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Data Export: Ability to export extracted text and data to other systems or formats for further processing or analysis.
• Data Security: Ensure that extracted text and data are stored securely (on premises or GRDCs Azure tenancy) and comply with relevant data protection regulations.
• Customization: Ability to customize the OCR solution to meet specific business requirements or integrate with other GRDC systems or processes.
• Performance and Scalability: Ensure that the OCR solution can handle a large volume of documents and is scalable to meet future needs.
