Tender Description
Council is seeking tenders from experienced contractors for the construction of a shared use path and associated works, adjacent to Para Road, from Railway Road to the roundabout at Sherbourne Road.
Works include construction/installation of a:
o Shared use path.
o Footpath along Railway Road.
o Raised Pedestrian Crossing.
o Kerb and Channel along Para Road and Railway Road.
o Linemarking and Signage.
o Retaining Walls.
o Drainage Works.
o Traffic Management – The existing concrete barriers will stay in place throughout the works. The contractor will be responsible for any other traffic management required to undertake the works.
All works are outside the rail corridor and within the road reserve.
A site inspection will be arranged for Thursday 13 June at 9:00am to inspect the site and meet with the project engineer, meeting point is Railway Road. All attendees must wear full PPE including Railway Safe Vest, steel cap boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves.
In addition to the above, Contractors are to visit the site and make their own investigation and assessment of site conditions.
