The Local Government Association of SA (LGA) invites you to respond to a detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) seeking provision of Consultancy Services for Enhancing the delivery of Local Government Research and Development Scheme on the terms and conditions contained in this RFQ.
LGA will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Respondent.
A consultant is required to undertake an independent review of the Local Government Research and Development Scheme (the Scheme/LGR&DS).
The LGA administers the scheme, which is delivered through a series of ongoing allocations and two competitive funding calls.
The review will investigate the use, outcomes and reporting of the Scheme with a particular focus on:
1. the extent to which the delivery of the grants aligns with the Principle and Purposes of the Scheme.
2. how the LGR&DS funding:
- is being delivered in accordance with the conditions of the grants; and
- provides benefits and opportunities provided to the local government sector in South Australia.
3. opportunities for enhancing the delivery of the scheme, including the funding model and outcomes, to ensure that the grant outcomes are maximised for the benefit of the local government sector in South Australia.
