Council is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced contractor to work with them to provide fencing construction works in parks and open space.

The works in this contract compromise but are not limited to the supply of all labour, materials, and machinery to install ring lock fencing to protect and enhance the vegetation and wildlife in and surrounding the wetland areas. The length of the fencing is approximately 1.267 km in length.

There are several mature native trees of high amenity around the reserve which must be preserved and protected during works.

As the site is a former landfill, all works will be conducted according to an Environmental Management Plan developed for the site. The integrity of the capping system and the landfill infrastructure of the former landfill must not be compromised during work activities.
