The Department of Education (the department) is supporting non-practicing teachers to return to the workforce by providing both tailored online and classroom-based professional development modules under the Teacher Re-engagement Strategy (the strategy). The strategy aims to increase teacher supply and build the capability and confidence of non-practicing teachers, to prepare them for a return to the teaching workforce.

This invitation is seeking to engage one or more suitable provider(s) to develop and deliver online and classroom-based professional development to returning teachers until 30 June 2025, with an option to extend for a further 12 months at the department’s discretion, unless otherwise advised.
