Tender Description
The Principal requires a solution to be supplied, installed and implemented, within its fleet of vehicles and plant for both GPS and 2-way radio systems, to facilitate fleet management tracking, monitoring and diagnostics. To support and enhance the safety of employees including locating employees and fleet items if there is an incident; asset security; asset management including maintenance scheduling; sending and confirming of work tasks; and the identification of operational efficiencies including work scheduling.
The Principal is seeking a leasing option only. Submissions are requested from companies that can provide a complete solution; subcontracting is permitted.
The Contractor will provide:
• removal of existing equipment
• supply and installation of new equipment
• network requirements
• software and equipment upgrades
• training
• servicing and maintenance of the system for the duration of the proposed Contract.
The intended length of the resulting agreement is three years, with an option to extend for two years, plus a second two year option, totaling a maximum seven year contract.
The Principal is seeking quotations from appropriately experienced, skilled and resourced Contractors for the supply, installation and implementation of a functional telemetry collection, analysis and reporting system. The system shall be able to collect various parameters in relation to plant and operators in accordance with the specification. Final quantities and configurations will be determined by the Principal at its absolute discretion, it will be subject to the Principal’s assessment of operational benefit and affordability.
The Principal requires a demonstration at the City offices of the GPS system before a final decision will be made on this Tender, which will form part of the evaluation.
