Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations and submissions from suitably qualified and experienced consultants able to deliver a long-form Business Case for the development of a Sports and Community Hub at Brierly Recreation Reserve.
The successful consultant must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering a Business Case for community infrastructure that has translated to funding and must be able to apply current knowledge of best practice, innovative, cost effective, environmentally sustainable solutions and knowledge of critical success factors to make recommendations that meet the needs of the community.
It is Council’s intention that the Business Case will support applications to funding bodies such as Regional Development Victoria or, Sports and Recreation Victoria (Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions), Regional Partnerships and others, seeking financial support for any proposed redevelopment or refurbishment project. As such Council expects that the report and supporting information will be expertly reasoned and robustly tested.
The Business Case will position Council to attract State and Federal Government, and Philanthropic Trust funding opportunities to bring the project to reality in the next 5 to 10 years.
