Melton City Council is seeking the services of suitably qualified consultants to undertake a review of its Works in Kind (WIK) framework as it relates to implementation of Development and Infrastructure Contribution Plans. Currently, Council has multiple approved Precinct Structure Plans (PSP) which cover growth areas in various stages of development. Each PSP is accompanied by either a Development Contributions Plan (DCP) or Infrastructure Contributions Plan (ICP).
The provision of development contributions, both in cash and/ or works in kind, is crucial to Council being able to provide essential local transport and community facilities in a timely and cost-efficient manner as a new area and community is being developed.
