MLA invites interested parties to submit tenders by 5:00p.m. AEDT on Friday 15 March 2024, to be considered for Desktop analysis of RD&A investment opportunities for the Australian goat industry (J23424).
MLA and GIRDAC are pursuing future strategic investment opportunities for R&D, extension and adoption activities for the goatmeat sector, which will be key to unlocking the potential of Australian goat producers.
The desktop analysis will: 1) review existing research and development investments in the international and domestic goat industry where relevant to Australian production systems; 2) identify gaps in the current knowledge to inform future research and development investments relevant to Australian production systems and 3) focus on on-farm goat RD&A including genetics, nutrition, survival and other relevant production metrics.
