Horsham Rural City Council invites you to provide a quotation for:

Landscaping of the northern area of the Horsham Aquatic Centre to follow up after the recent Changerooms and Outdoor Function Centre Contract.

The area for landscaping is shown in the attachments and is approximately 153 m2 in area. This consists of a narrow entrance area of 2.7 m x 12.6 m (34 m2) and the remainder is a more open area of 119 m2. The location for works is shown in Attachment 02 – Area of Works and Attachment 03 – Site Photos.

There are two options for submission. These are:

• Option 1: Paving of the entire area (153 m2).
• Option 2: Paving of the narrow area (34 m2) and turf and irrigation for the open area (119 m2).

Both options are for supply and installation of all materials. Please enter your prices in Attachment 01 – Landscaping Pricing Schedule.

Paving is to match in with the footpath paving around Horsham’s Central Activity District and an example of this can be seen in Attachment 04 – Paving Example. This consists of charcoal 400 x 200 Adbri Havenslab pavers in a herringbone pattern, with a border of bricks, similar as shown in the attachment. Paver sand is to be brushed into gaps between all the pavers and bricks.

Turf and irrigation consist of kikuyu turf and an appropriate irrigation poly pipe network running off a node controller. The water supply line for other irrigation at the Aquatic Centre runs underneath the area of these works.

Preparation and installation works are to be to best practice and conform with the relevant sections of Attachment 05 – HRCC General Infrastructure Specifications, particularly the pavers section of Part G.

It is anticipated this project will commence Monday 26 February 2024

This project must be completed no later than Friday, 22 March 2024.
