This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Purpose
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services. Our vision is for older Australians to trust and have confidence that aged care services protect and enhance their safety, health and quality of life.
The Commission requires a suitably qualified and experienced digital agency to redesign and redevelop our existing SharePoint intranet site.
The purpose of this project is to redevelop and build a centrally managed, effective staff intranet that reflects the culture, structure, processes, staff and resources of the Commission.
The Commission has staff located across Australia, so the intranet should be seen as a trusted, single source of truth that helps promote collaboration and a sense of belonging.
A large portion of our staff are field-based, and it is important that this project delivers a solution that supports them while they are in the field.
The Commission is operating in a rapidly changing legislative environment with ongoing reforms to the aged care sector, which may require flexibility during the project on the part of the vendor.
Project description
The intranet must be redeveloped from a user-centric perspective. This will ensure it is intuitive and easy to navigate, with a logical information architecture to facilitate information sharing and communications across the organisation.
The successful tenderer will create an intranet platform with a strong focus on user experience design. The new site should be simple to use, provide clear and accessible information and be easy to add or modify content.
The outcomes will be a redeveloped intranet site that:
- improves the navigation, content structure, search functionality and architecture of the current site.
- improves on the design, usability and look and feel of the current site.
The intranet site design and layout should follow established style guides, with intuitive navigation for diverse users. The intranet site design should provide clear pathways to information for new and existing staff.
The successful tenderer will assist in the migration of existing content to the new site.
The redeveloped intranet site will be user-friendly, professional, accessible, responsive and easy-to-manage. It should meet Australian Government requirements (minimum WCAG 2.1 AA) and be in line with the Commission’s branding guidelines.
