Request for Information (RFI) People Counting and Surf Monitoring

⁠⁠⁠The Council of the City of Gold Coast (“City”) intends to establish a whole of Gold Coast program to monitor surf conditions and quantify beach use in more depth. The objective is to assess surf quality/amenity and potential changes in the future, due to natural or artificial causes, as well as to quantify beach visitation and trends across the Gold Coast and over time. This information will become part of the City’s Coastal Monitoring database and will be used independently or in combination with other datasets, internally or as a resource for external providers.

The first step for the program is to engage the market to obtain information on capability, offerings and best approaches that will drive the formation of innovative options for the City to realise our core objectives.
