Valuer-General Victoria Valuation Calculation System

⁠⁠⁠The Agency is Department of Transport and Planning. Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) operates from within Planning and Land Services (PALS), a division of the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). VGV is the state’s independent authority on property valuations.

The Agency is seeking responses to this Invitation for Expressions of Interest to gauge the capability, capacity, maturity and innovation in the valuation calculation marketplace.

The Department requires an existing system that has proven capability in managing jurisdictional statutory valuations.

The Agency is seeking responses to this Invitation for Expressions of Interest for a scalable, integrated valuation system with functionality to calculate, audit, store, maintain and make available all statutory valuations in accordance with the Valuation of Land Act 1960 (the Act) and the Valuation Best Practice Specifications Guidelines (VBPSG). It is a core requirement that the system can support valuation industry methodologies. The requirements of the valuation system include the valuation calculations and a suite of statistical, mapping and data reporting. It is also required to achieve the output requirements as per the VBPSG for each stage of the valuation.
